Clients of “Rīgas satiksme” satisfied with accessibility of parking lots
The respondents were asked to evaluate various aspects of the parking service: 93% like cleanness at parking lots, 88% are satisfied with the location of parking meters, and 86% believe that the information about payment methods available on parking meters is sufficient and of good quality.
An increasing number of respondents see payments with bank cards as a convenient way of paying for parking service: their number increased from 51% in 2015 to 66% this year. Clients are also positive about various payments via mobile phone.
The client satisfaction survey was conducted by public opinion research center “SKDS” in March and April this year and involved 1305 randomly selected permanent residents of Riga aged 18-74, which were interviewed in their places of residence.
One of “Rīgas satiksme” business lines is the operation of paid municipal parking lots. In Riga, the company operates about 6000 parking lots in zones A, B, C, D, R un V. Parking services can be both prepaid and postpaid.
